Our 9 rooms are all on ground level and face the river.  You can't miss the view unless you have your eyes closed. We are located on the north edge of Ferryville and we pride ourselves on offering a nice, quiet place to stay.  Therefore, we limit any groups to a maximum of 3 rooms.  We appreciate your understanding.

THANK YOU to all our guests for supporting our family owned business for the past 10+ years and for helping us keep our SORRY light turned on so often!  We are fortunate to have landed in such a beautiful spot in the midwest, and we're glad to be able to provide a quality stay AND an incomparable view.

We always look forward to seeing old friends and welcoming new guests.  You'll love it here!  You might find other places up and down the river, but if you want to stay at a beautiful place with a BIG view of the Mighty Mississippi River, look no further.  Location!  Location!  Location!  We have it here -- great rooms, great rates, grand view!

For the week of:  July 13, 2016  River stage is just above normal -- 8'.  Lots of rainfall up north will probably mean higher water coming soon.  Folks that have been fishing lately have reported spotty success.  Just gotta be at the right place at the right time!  As we begin our 11th season of owning the Grandview we'd like to thank all of you for your patronage, whether you stay once a year, or once a month.  We've recently been taking numerous reservations for folks who have events, reunions, or fishing tournaments.  Also, filling up October!  Give us a call as soon as you have your dates picked out.

Donna's Garden Report:  Now blooming:  alyssum, bee balm, blackberry lily, black-eyed susan, catmint, coreopsis, crown vetch, day lilies, dianthus, garden phlox, hostas, marigold, moonflower, pansy, petunia, potentilla, purple coneflower, russian sage, spirea, verbena.  The hanging baskets (head bangers) are planted with bubblegum wave petunias and lime green sweet potato vine.  Everyone loves our glass bottle trees coming up along the driveway -- we think they look stunning with 200 cobalt blue wine & beer bottles!  I'm always excited to dig in the dirt, especially puting my mark on our new property -- GRANDVIEW 2!!!  I strive to make the landscape interesting and unique.  Ordinary gardens? -- nope, not here.
