For the week of:  May 11, 2013   Spring has sprung!  The Pool 9 river stage is at 13.3'' and falling -- normal is 8' -- flood stage is 17'.  We are fortunate to be located on one of the largest pools which can hold a lot of water so no real flood issues for us at this point. 

For all who enjoy our most popular room -- Room 1, we just finished putting in a gorgeous new bathroom, plus a few nice updates to the kitchen area.  We have posted before & after photos on our Facebook Page for all to see.  Of course, seeing it in person would be even better! 

We always look forward to seeing old friends and welcoming new guests.  You'll really love it here!  Thank you to all guests who helped us keep our SORRY light on so frequently throughout 2012, and for helping us build our business for the past 7+ years.  We are happy to provide nice accommodations in such a beautiful setting.   We really appreciate your patronage!

Donna's Garden Report:  Blooming report:  bleeding hearts, allium, columbine, daffodils, hyacinth, iris, silene, tulips.  Trees are budding, but not fully leafted out yet.    Each and every day looking out at our GRAND VIEW of the Mississippi River is always a treat.  For those who are not aware, it's over 3 miles across to Iowa from here!
