Welcome to our first property in De Soto! This cabin is absolutely perfect for that romantic couples' retreat. Room for six. Gorgeous setting overlooking the Main Channel of the river. Almost feels like being in a tree house, surrounded by nature. Tons of fresh updates inside and out, including new furniture and of course, thoughtful and gorgeous decor our gests have come to expect!

What's in the kitchen? Electric smooth surface range/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, 12 cup coffee maker & filters, toaster, tea kettle, cookware, pizza pan, flatware, utensils, wine glasses/corkscrew, dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, mixing bowls, serving bowls, serving tray, measuring cups & spoons, steak knives.
What else is there for us? Vernon Communications cable on both tv's, Wi-Fi, games, cards. The house has a new HVAC system for heating and cooling. There are also 2 newer gas freestanding fireplaces for those cozy winter nights.
What is outside for us to use? Gas grill, dining table, seating on deck; HOT TUB and seating in screen porch on lower level. Separate fire pit area with free firewood. All face toward the magnificent river view! The cabin is located above De Soto in the American Heritage subdivision so you're up on top of the bluffs. Paved roads all the way to the cabin with a gravel circular driveway.
Who would enjoy staying at this awesome cabin? Perfect for couples for a romantic get-away! Smaller family groups. Girls Weekend. Please note: like the motel, we are located in bluff country so the road is curvy and hilly. Cabin is somewhat secluded, however there are neighbors so our goal is for any guests to respect their privacy and quiet as well.
What else can you tell us? We have a listing on Airbnb, and VRBO where you can instantly book or call us direct to save fees. We started renting this cabin May of 2022 and have been thrilled with the enthusiastic response and feedback we've been getting.
