Welcome to our fourth vacation rental house, which we purchased in February, 2019!
It is located on the Great River Road right in town. You can stay for a weekend or a full week.
Enjoy the view overlooking the Big River from the large screen porch featuring a HOT TUB as of January, 2022!. We're excited to feature our vibrant and whimsical interior designs,
and have everything you'll need for your home away from home!
If you're a previous Grandview Motel guest you already know about
our commitment to providing an immaculate and comfortable place to stay.
The main floor has a bedroom with a king bed,
and upstairs there are three bedrooms with queen beds -- plenty of room for up to eight guests.
There are two bathrooms on the main floor for your convenience.
The kitchen has a large island plus dining table and is fully stocked, other than your food and beverages.
All kitchen, bath, and bed linens are provided, along with many other unexpected amenities!

Sun - Thur $210/night
* Discounted rates available for 7+night stays
Two night minimum stay. Rates based on double occupancy. Additional guests $25 per night.
Cleaning Fee $110
Maximum occupancy is 8 guests.
Well behaved pets considered -- fee is $110 -- maximum 2 dogs.
Vacation house bookings must be guaranteed with Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express
50% deposit is required at time of booking.
9.5% sales/room tax not included in rates. 30 day cancellation policy.

This house was completely renovated in March, 2019. The previous owners also ran it as a vacation rental called "River Road Hideout". We have brand new furniture throughout the house, along with a new HVAC system. We're excited to share our passion for interior design and hope you'll enjoy sleeping in one of the fun bedrooms. If you choose the PINK one, you also have your very own private deck at the back of the house, which also features a cute garden with "Emerald City" and "Fairyville". Of course, you'll totally enjoy hanging out in the refurbished screen porch with comfortable new furniture and the view! Curl up on the sofa with a book, relax in a lounge chair/ottoman with a beer, or sit at the pub table and watch TV, all while enjoying the location and proximity to the river and local establishments.

What's in the kitchen? Electric range, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge/freezer, 12 cup coffee maker, blender, toaster, cookware, pizza pan, flatware, utensils, wine glasses/corkscrew, dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, mixing bowls, serving bowls, serving tray, measuring cups & spoons, steak knives.
What else is there for us? Mediacom cable TV & Wi-Fi, games, cards, books, magazines. The house has central air/heat and ceiling fans throughout for your comfort. Washer and dryer are available for you to use if needed.
What is outside for us to use? Large screened porch has new furniture -- sofa, 2 lounge chairs & 2 ottomans with LP fire table. New starting in 2022 is a HOT TUB! Also has a large pub table and stools as well as an additional bar counter below the TV. Gas grill is just outside, between porch and house. Of course, the grounds have lovely landscaping for you to enjoy and Donna will be busy enhancing the gardens as time allows. The house is just at the foot of a bluff, with woods behind so plenty of songbirds to listen for. Lots of nature to go around, especially the view of the Mississippi River and surrounding bluffs! If you're a train enthusiast you can enjoy watching them passing through our small village.
Who would enjoy staying at this awesome house? Couples for a romantic get-away. Family groups. Girls Weekend. Guys weekend. Multiple couples. Fishermen/hunters. We have a fish cleaning shed adjacent to the screen porch for your convenience. There's ample street parking. Not suitable for those who have trouble with stairs.
What else can you tell us? We have a listing on VRBO and Airbnb We started renting this house April 2019 and have been taking a lot of reservations.
